@#$% THIS WIND!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate this freakin' wind.......checked the weather, 29 miles an hour my butt!!! It ripped our screen door, our screen DOOR off our house!!!!! Not only did it do that, but it busted part of our porch off when it blew away. Our screen door had been having problems anyway, this wind just put it in its grave. Doesn't help that we live right by the interstate. DON'T LIKE IT!!!
Other than that, it has been a nice day. Slept in for awhile this morning, then we finished up the episodes of 24 that we had left. Only one disc left, Roy's going to pick it up tomorrow. Talked to Mom for awhile, then did some laundry. I'm going to do some filing (mindless work) while we watch the Survivor finale. Well, not a lot to write about tonight so I'm going to sign off. I'm so sorry about your door and porch! You might check out your homeowners insurance to see if it would pay for anything. It has been very windy here today, too. Have a good week!
Who needs hurricanes? Sorry about your door and porch. We didn't try to heat the garage today to work on glass cause of the wind. The cantata went pretty well, we got lots of good comments. Big load off my mind. Just saw where the wind is not supposed to clam til 6 a.m. tomorrow. Bummer. Stay safe. -Aunt J
Oh goodness, sorry to hear about your screen door and porch! That's always a fear of ours too. I would definitely check your homeowners policy for help with that expense though. People here in our park have had similar problems and their homeowners insurance sure helped out with the expense.
The wind has been whipping here yesterday, last night and today so I know what you mean. I'm sure it's blowing harder than they say it is on the weather reports.
The Survivor finale was pretty good. I was pleased that it came down to Chris or Twila although I would have liked to have seen Twila win. Chris is from our neck of the woods here in Ohio but I think Twila played a good game and stayed true to herself to the end. We enjoyed the finale just the same.
I've never seen 24 but I've wanted to. Perhaps we'll rent the DVD's so I can watch it. My daughter loves it.
