Howdy! I hope everyone has been having a good week. I've been busy, very excited the week is half over. It took me FOREVER to scrape off my car this morning! I think we're in for a bad winter this year (NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!).
Long day in Danville, I don't feel like boring everyone (myself included!) with talking about work though! I'm going to try to get some Christmas shopping done this weekend. Roy has a big test next week that he's stressed out about, so it might be good for me to let him study in peace. Plus, I just really REALLY want to get my shopping done! I love doing it, but we have so many people we want to buy for that I always feel like I'm going to forget someone.
I was so tired when I left work this morning. Roy had left me a message and while I was waiting for my car to defrost I tried calling him back. He sounded muffeled, and I couldn't understand what he was saying. I kept trying to talk and all he would say was fine. Finally I snapped "why aren't you talking" at him, and he told me mom was up if I wanted to talk to her. I had hit the wrong button on my phone, dialed my parent's instead of Roy, and woke poor Shawn up!!! Ha! Yeah, he probably really didn't think it was so funny :-) Sorry Shawn!

Your week is on the downhill slide now and the weekend is looming. Kewl, huh?
We had to cut back on who we bought for at Christmas. Between my family and Bear's there's just not enough time, money or desire to shop. This year it's just parents, my kids and grandkids, which is a far cry from the list we used to have.

Guess Shawn wondered what the heck was going on! That's funny. He does speak softly and he probably really sounded muted having just gotten up. We're coming up to Karla's tomorrow to stay with Chandler while Karla and Mark go to a work dinner in Champaign. Let us know if you are going to be home and maybe we can drive over and see your Christmas tree! Grandma
I bet Shawn was totally confused. You should do it again sometime, then deny it:) It'll drive him nuts. I'm so baaaad.
