READY FOR FALL!!!! I can't believe how hot it is! Thank the Lord there's only a couple more months of this nonsense!
Other than baking all day we've been doing alright. We survived Peyton's first ear infection. It was pretty rough! His fever got up to 105 one night which scared the bejeezus out of us. He's finally getting back to his normal self. He started with his new babysitter this week and has been wearing her out! Just a little needier than usual because he's really in that "stranger danger" phase right now. He started saying "uh oh" and singing this week! I sent some pictures to all of ya tonight.

We made an interesting discovery last weekend. We have a drive-in theatre just a half hour away! So, we went with a couple of our friends to watch the Simpsons movie! I loved the movie, what I could hear. Peyton cried for about the first half because his poor ears started hurting. Roy and I took turns caring for him in our car. The drive-in is under construction right now so its a little rough looking, but its cheap and its an opportunity for us to get out to a movie where we can bring Peyton along so I'm sure we'll be returning. We don't have any plans this weekend so far, just anxiously awaiting Mom and Dad's visit for next weekend! I hope you're all doing well and keeping cool! Take care and God bless!

Wow, I usually check your blog nearly everytime, and I've missed it all week! Glad you're back. I guess I did write and thank you for the pictures. I was sure Peyton was singing! He is such a doll. How neat to have a drive-in. I used to take Kerry with Mary Ann and her kids to the one in Taylorville when we lived there. We'd pack our own food and pop.
