Check me out, another post in little over a week! Peyton had his nine month appointment today with his new doctor. I love her! She actually listened to my concerns, was more personable, let me hold Peyton while she checked him over, and stayed to chat awhile even though she was busy. FINALLY I have a doctor who is open to the possibility that he has allergies and not a cold everyday of his life. Not that I want him to have them, or that there is much to be done considering his age. But I don't like genuine concerns written off as they were with our last doctor.

She said for now to continue giving him benedryl when he needs it, and when he's a year old, if we need to, there is a once-a-day allergy medication he can take. I'm torn over this because I do NOT want him to have to be medicated everyday, I also don't want him to endure allergy testing this young or be miserable everyday because he's so congested. So I'll just pray and maybe he'll get over it some before any of that is necessary.

Other than that we haven't been up to a whole lot. We went out to Julie and Brian's for awhile on Saturday and Peyton did really well. He hammed it up for everyone and had a great time. Its nice to cook out and all but I am sooooo ready for fall. Not so much a summer person. I'm glow-in-the-dark white and I don't like bugs or humidity. Ready for the cold! Well, gonna watch some tv before bed. Nighty-night!

Back again, I really haven't been so great about writing but I'm gonna try it again! It was so good to see everyone last weekend. Since we saw the fireworks in Arthur last weekend we didn't go anywhere else on the fourth, just stayed at home and chilled. Roy is out at Julie and Brian's tonight. Their neighbors were having a cookout and they were shooting off fireworks afterwards. I didn't take Peyton because its so hot out and I don't want him to go in the neighbor's house since they and their family chainsmoke in there. So we played at home, and he's down for the night now.
Peyton now has TWO teeth and I think he's working on another one. Which means he already has more healthy teeth than most of the guys I work with! We had fun today. I got this forward from Diane with Dora the Explorer dancing to some crappy Mexican rap song. I was holding Peyton while I played it and he LOVED it! He started laughing and jumping up and down. I'm going to have to steer his choice of music elsewhere, but for now its really funny :)
Well, I'm going to take advantage of the few moments of quiet time and I will definitely try to write again soon instead of every quarter! Night!
