Geez, can't seem to write consistently at all lately! Not much has been happening since my last post! I'm very happy that everything went well with Karla's surgery. Last I heard she's recovering very well!

Jeremy came down to visit this weekend. We had an awesome time with him! We hung out here for awhile, ate at Pizza Hut, then went to Julie and Brian's. He had to leave Sunday morning :( The weather was actually decent while he was here, it started raining on Saturday so it stayed a little cooler.

Not cool today though! Very warm outside, I hate the humidity more than I hate the heat. Had another doctor appointment today! Everything looks fine, little man kept rolling away from the nurse when she was trying to hear his heartbeat :)

Well, gotta go make some supper! Hope everyone is surviving the week!

Its a boy!!!!!

Its official! We had our ultrasound yesterday and are definitely having a boy! It was the coolest thing I've ever seen :) And man is he active!!! He refused to let the nurse get a shot of his face, but we did get to see him scratch his ear, suck his thumb, and move all over my abdomen. He couldn't sit still for a second! I'll email pictures either tonight or tomorrow! They also moved my due date up because of his size, I'm now due on Oct. 21.

We had a wonderful time with Mom and Dad this weekend! They came up Friday night, which was awesome because we then got the entire day Saturday. Dad and Roy went shooting and Mom and I went shopping :) We went to a couple antique stores in Hazel and browsed for awhile. On our way to Murray we passed a rummage sale, and Mom bought us a crib and pack & play!!! She got an awesome deal on it! We appreciate it so much!!!! Thank you again Mom! We then went into Murray to eat lunch and shop a little longer. That's something I don't get to do with my Mom very much and I had a great time!

Later that evening Julie and Brian and kids came over for a cook out. Me, Mom and Julie put the crib together, now the room looks more like a baby's room! I haven't attempted to put the pack&play together yet, it'll take me awhile :) Mom and Dad left early Sunday morning so Dad could get some sleep for work. We had a great time with them, the weekend flew by!

Other than the ultrasound, our week has been pretty uneventful. I'm fighting a nasty cold, but hopefully it'll wear off soon. Jeremy is still planning on coming this weekend, I can't wait! I'm anxious to see him! Well, I'm going back to the couch. Hope everyone is having a good week!

Happy Tuesday! It has been beautiful out so far this week. "The Apprentice" is over :( , but I now have "Last Comic Standing" to watch! Last couple of days have been pretty uneventful. We're really looking forward to Mom and Dad hopefully visiting this weekend! Also, Jeremy said that he is going to try to come down next weekend! I love it when family visits and now I might get two in row!

Just talked to Mom and Dad and they were getting ready to go to Maddy's first tee ball game. Wish I could be there, I know she's going to be adorable :) Everyone promised to take pictures.

I've been bad about writing lately!!! Nothing much has been going on. Yesterday, we got up and around pretty early. I'm doing a Bible study on the DaVinci code, and our group went to see the movie since none of us have read the book or anything. Figured if we're studying how it conflicts with the Bible, better know more what its about first! Didn't learn too much from the movie. I was disappointed....I had assumed that beliefs set aside it would at least be an interesting movie. Not so much! Plus, my pregnant back doesn't like sitting in a cramped theater seat for over two hours :-)

After the movie we all headed back to Julie and Brian's for a cookout. We had a nice time! It wasn't too hot to sit out on the deck and visit. Came home and watched some "Arrested Development's" and went to bed. Today we got up and around and got grocery shopping out of the way. Cleaned the house yesterday so thats done, just trying to get caught up on laundry. Talked to Mom & Dad and Rachel, sounds like everyone is doing fine! Mom and Dad are going to try to come down for a visit next weekend as long as Dad doesn't have to work!

Tatum was funny this morning. I let her outside and as soon as she set foot in the yard a frog jumped out and scared her half to death! She chased it a little bit, but was so afraid she didn't really want to catch it :-)

Well, time to go check on the laundry! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
