We've been working so much on the house I've been too tired to blog! First of all, I want to congratulate Rachel! So very excited for her, she is a wonderful teacher and deserves this opportunity!

Mom and Jeremy will be here tomorrow morning and we can't wait! We got quite a bit done on the house today....sorted through tons of clutter. I painted our bathroom on Thursday. We tried to go up to the "world's biggest fish fry", it is a joke. Nothing but corn dogs, pizza, and FISH to eat. It was very small....not too impressed. But, we went to Arby's and had one of their new gyros and it was tasty!

Short one tonight! My head was much, much better today. After work I ran by Wal-Mart and Walgreens, then to Julie and Brian's to see their new bushes. Tatum and Otis were so cute, Tatum was still wearing her leash and Otis was dragging her around the house with it :-)

Right now I'm getting ready to have a snack and watch the American Idol that I taped! We're supposed to get some storms, but I don't think they're going to be too bad. Hope everyone's having a great night! Take care!

My baby's got an attitude!!!!!

I DID get to hear the heartbeat today!!! It was very strong and interrupted by tiny kicks :-) The nurse said it looks like my baby has an attitude already, he/she didn't like her poking around my stomach with the dopplar. Every view seconds, he/she would kick at it! That sound was just as precious to me as the heartbeat itself! Everything is looking great and I'm gaining weight so we're all happy.

Nothing else much to report today. Work was alright, but I've had a steady headache all day that I can't shake. And being pregnant, I can't take any "real" pain relievers so I took some tylenol but I don't want to overdo it on that either. Hopefully its just sinuses and will be better tomorrow.

I'm about to hit it on to bed! Thank you everyone for your prayers, have a great night!

Busy weekend! Yesterday I talked to Mom for awhile, she is coming down to visit with Jeremy next weekend. I can't wait for them to come!!! She then called me back awhile later and said that she and Dad wanted to help us get a fridge. She had already called Sears and they were waiting on us to come down and pick one out! We couldn't believe it!!! She said that we can pay them pack as we can, but they really wanted to help us out. SO, thanks to my wonderful parents we now have a brand new working fridge!!! Thank you both again so much!!!

We (with Brian's help) got the new fridge in and loaded the old one to return. We then found a lawn mower at a good price at a pawn shop, so we got that then went to get groceries since we can now have COLD stuff :-)
After we got home, we talked to Julie and she wanted us to come out for dinner so we did. Had pork chops grilled out and sat and visited for awhile.

Today has been spent cleaning and organizing. We got quite a bit done, but now we're exhausted. Roy started mowing today, and he was doing it for a long time because we're sitting on almost an acre and a half. He was almost done with the front when our neighbor came over with his tractor and helped him finish the front and back. They are really nice people, his wife works at the same place where Roy does. Now we're relaxing!

Tomorrow is my doctor's appoinment, please pray everything is looking well! Hopefully I'll get to hear the heartbeat!!! Hope everyone's having a great night! Take care!

Enjoying the cooler weather today! It rained some today and really brought the temps down to where they're tolerable!
Not much going on tonight! Our big drama yesterday was our fridge, it quit working AGAIN! So, we'll have to take it back this weekend and get another one. We didn't have too many groceries in there, and I was able to get a few things over to Julie and Brian's so it wasn't a huge loss.
Not a whole lot planned for this weekend, just situating more things in the house. I'd like to get the bathroom painted as well! We're very excited about Jeremy coming to visit next weekend. Mom said that she and Dad are planning to come in a couple weeks as well!

Hello!!! Work was hot, sweaty, and busy today. We were really short-handed so we all busted our butts. But, just makes me even more thankful to be home!!!

Haven't done too much. I was so tired (working all day on top of growing a baby takes it all out of me!), so when I got home I cleaned up and plopped on the couch to watch another episode of "North and South". I love that series! Each episode is about an hour and a half long, so its like watching several movies. I'm getting ready to watch another here before I go to bed.

Got some good news today! Next week is the "world-famous" Paris fish-fry. Apparantly a huge deal around here, schools close and MOST people get off of work. Of course, my ghetto place of employment would not hear of letting us go with pay......which means no one would take off since we can't afford to. However, I heard today that we will probably get to leave at noon, which makes me more than happy! Now mind you, my happiness is not because I give even two craps about a fish fry.....but Roy had the day off and Jeremy is coming down that weekend! So I'm excited!

Baby has been keeping me up at night already! Not with kicking since I can't feel that yet, but with growing. My stomach is all disproportioned, and finding a comfortable sleeping position is getting difficult. I'm going to get a really good body pillow this weekend, I hear that is supposed to help. I don't care if I get any sleep now, just makes me happy that the baby is growing! I got my 12 week information off babycenter and it says the baby is the size of a lime, is peeing, and moving around when I press on my stomach!

Had a fantastic Easter weekend!!! We left Friday after I got home from work and took off for Illinois. We drove through Taco Johns in Murray (the baby was hungry!) and I got some super nachos and crunchy tacos, scrum-didly! Got to Mom and Dad's around 9:30 and visitied with them for awhile before going on to bed. Mom and Dad just redid the spare bedroom and it is beautiful! They painted it a really pretty pale green and its gorgeous. We were greeted with a poster and presents from Katie and Shawn for the new baby, it was so sweet!
On Saturday Shawn, Jeremy, Rachel and the kids all came over early to visit. I was so glad to see them! Katie had to work a double shift at the Dutch Oven, but she came by on her break and after work to hang out. I can't believe how big my niece and nephews are getting! It breaks my heart that I'm not around them more. Jacob is crawling, pulling himself up on things, and making a "k" sound (sounds like cake!). So cute!
Grandma and Grandpa, Karla and Graham, Diane, Justin and kids, Aunt Judy and Uncle Larry, and Grandma Jean all came over for a cookout early in the afternoon! I love getting to see everyone and it couldn't have been a more perfect day to be outside! I can't even begin to list all of the food we had, but everything was delicious and we all got stuffed. I have to get Mom's recipe for the fruit pizza she made! We all ate, played washers, and visited all afternoon! Mom had asked Aunt Judy and Uncle Larry to make me a stained glass penguin picture and it is absolutely beautiful!!! It has a gorgeous blue background with a big and little penguin. I put it up right away so it wouldn't get broken, but kept getting it out to show it off. Thank you so much again to all three! I'm still trying to decide where the perfect place is to set up in the house!
Grandma Jean also suprised me with a Snow White and the seven Dwarfs toy set! She got it in Germany and actually got to watch them hand paint it. I love it, we'll set that up in the nursery when it gets situated!
After everyone left and went home we rested and then later watched "Having Fun with Dick and Jane". It was so funny!
Sunday morning we all got up and went to church together. After church we visited for awhile longer, then Roy and I had to leave to make the five hour drive :( I always hate leaving so much, but I know we'll be back down again soon.
We stopped and got groceries in Murray on the way home, then rested the rest of the night. Thank you so much to everyone for coming over. I had a blast with everyone!
Work wasn't too bad today. After I got home and showered I packed Tatum in the car and we drove through the gas station, McDonalds for a snack and then stopped by Julie and Brians to see their Easter pictures and visit for awhile. Tatum and Otis (their jack russell terrier) played and played, they haven't been together for awhile. Brian has to fix a scoreboard in New York this week so he's leaving tomorrow and will be back on Thursday. Please pray for a safe trip! And now I'm getting ready to watch tv on the couch till bedtime!

One more day of work left!!! Glad, it was a hot one today. Tomorrow after I get off of work we'll leave for Mom and Dad's! I can't wait to see everyone, feels like its been forever.

Not much happening tonight. Stopped by Wal-Mart on my way home, and I've been doing laundry and getting things ready for tomorrow ever since! I still have a LOT to do around the house, but it'll just get done slowly.

Has anyone seen that American Inventor show? I'm watching it now, can't believe some of the crap people come up with to try to sell. Its pretty interesting though.

Barefoot, pregnant and still in Tennessee!

Hello all!!! Now that we aren't sharing a phone line with quite as many people, even though I have slow dial up I can start blogging again!
Roy and I just moved into our own place over the weekend. Still unpacking and cleaning but it feels more and more like home everyday! Our landlords are okay with me painting and I have the kitchen and bedroom done so far (after getting the okay from my doctor!). I still have to paint the bathrooms and baby's room, but I'm not on a time limit for that!
We're very excited to go to Arthur over the weekend! It feels like forever since I've seen my family and I'm anxious to spend some time with them. We'll leave Friday after work and should get to Mom and Dad's around 10:30.
It is so wierd having the house so quiet. Roy works 2nd shift, so I'm unfortunately used to him being gone at night, but I am used to having other people around. Its an adjustment, but I'm getting used to it. I do like puttering around my own place and getting things how I like them.
Pregnancy-wise, everything seems to be going fine! I'll be three months along this weekend! Starting to get a little chunky already :-) I have a wonderful doctor who will sit and talk with me for as long as I need too. He said that at my next appointment on the 24th, I should be able to hear the heartbeat!
Well, that's all I can think of for now! Time to go warm up a pizza and settle in for some tv. Take care!
